MiCO support Doctorlink at the 2019 HSJ Award ceremony
MiCO were delighted to attend the Health Service Journal Awards in Battersea in November with Doctorlink who were shortlisted for the award – “driving efficiency through technology”. MiCO are working with Doctorlink to roll out their innovative e-consultaion product across West Essex CCG, a huge step forward for primary care digital transformation. Doctorlink provides intelligent triaging and signposting as well as video technology for online consultations.

Jacqui Wells, Director said “It’s a privilege to be a part of such technological advancement through the implementation of products such as Doctorlink which lay the foundations for the future of healthcare for patients” The Doctorlink pilot within west Essex is set to complete in February 2020, after which a full rollout is expected.

Keith Nurcombe, Managing Director UK of Doctorlink, commented: “Through collaborative partnerships with CCGs such as West Essex, we are improving the quality of care for patients through better access. Practices using Doctorlink are seeing at least a 20% reduction in demand and we want to bring that transformation to the surgeries here.”
MiCO project shortlisted for "Best use of technology" award
We were thrilled to be shortlisted in the national HPCI Media Building Better Healthcare Awards 2018!
Our entry in the Best Use of Technology category has met the criteria set out by the organisers of the awards. Entries into the category had to demonstrate excellence in technology deployment within the health and care sectors.
The judges looked for entries that show how IT teams and their partners have worked together to seamlessly deploy technology so as to achieve measurable efficiencies; and how those deployments have been integrated for the benefit of staff and other users.
